Integrating Metabolomics, Proteomics and Artificial Intelligence for Early Detection of Pancreatic Cancer

  • Funding source: Lithuania–Taiwan Joint Research Programme / Research Council of Lithuania
  • Grant agreement number: 2024-PRO00128
  • Date: January 2024 – December 2026
  • Description: Under the framework of this project, we aim to integrate clinical and biochemical variables with metabolomic and proteomic profiling data, in order to create a non-invasive hybrid artificial intelligence (AI) based diagnostic tool for noninvasive detection of pancreatic cancer. We anticipate that our NMR-based metabolomics–proteomics-AI approach, characterized by rapidity, high stability, and sensitivity, could serve as a non-invasive primary diagnostic tool for early PDAC detection, offering patients increased opportunities for successful cancer treatment and extended survival.
