MicroRNA Profiling and Functional Analysis in Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors

  • Description: This project will determine microRNA profile in GIST using next-generation sequencing technology. Moreover, this project will be the first to address the role of microRNAs in regulation of Ras-ERK and JAK-STAT genes using functional studies. The data on functional role of microRNAs obtained during the project will serve for enhanced perception of GIST pathogenesis and further clinical studies.
