Development of Mice Model for Microscopic Colitis: Implementation of Microbiota Transplantation

  • Description: The aim of this project is to develop a mouse model for microscopic colitis using fecal microbiota transplantation as a method for phenotype transposition. For this purpose, we will analyze the fecal microbiome composition of MC patients and ii) perform transplantation of patients’ fecal microbiota to laboratory mice and evaluate changes in their gastrointestinal (GI) tract phenotype, histology, and gut microbiome.
